He was one of those people everyone knew and most wanted to hang out with. He was in my study abroad program, and I remember many nights spent in the local bars with him as well as dozens of other American friends, dancing the nights away.<\/p>\n<p>He was truly a shining star, and he will be missed by us all. Having him in my mind reminds me to have a love for life and to make what you do with your one and only really count. His life was so full of love, drive, and passion, and I can only hope to follow his lead.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s a reality check for me, to look around myself and see who I am, who I want to be, and what I value.<\/p>\n<p>And I wanted to take a minute to tell you I value you, reader, for sticking with me. You keep me writing, which is what I really love. So thank you Matt, and thank you readers.
