I'm icing my feet, friends.

OK, after Saturday, Sunday, and Monday off, because I slacked off, I went running tonight.

Since daylight savings was this weekend, the sun is out until about 7, which means when I got home around 5:45 going running was a perfect idea. I loaded my mix on, and headed out.

Accomplishment? I ran the entire 10 minutes. I had to cut back my speed and really focus on my breath, but I held a steady jog.

Something to work on? I tied my shoes too tightly and DID NOT wear sneakers to work today, which meant my arches weren’t ready for running. I had to stop a few times and shake it off, including once when I had to get down and re lace my shoes.

I feel good. I have ice shot glasses taped to my feet with duct tape, but I did it. (But, on a lighter note, at least those babies are multiple-purpose. I might have some marketing and patents to work on…)

Next time–I will s t r e t c h out before I head out. That’s my campaign slogan for the year.
