
Christmas rolls. From the joy of cooking — a really good recipe, although Bailey ate half of them, and after a few days they were a bit hard.

The Christmas Jax! We get these every year, because you can’t buy Jax in Michigan, and they are our favorite cheese doodle.
This is Barefoot Contessa’s Sour Cream Coffee Cake.

This is the strudel for the coffee cake. In my opinion, this strudel could stand to be doubled, to add a more delicious layer to the cake.

This is a lake, by my sister’s fiance’s cottage. There are bikers on the lake….Jon assured me that it’s frozen enough…I wasn’t so sure.


I stopped to take a picture of this farmhouse. It was pretty. I don’t know who lives there, but they probably think I am creepy.

Melissa turned 25. She got a yellow kettle.
We got Christmas trees.
We decorated them.
We hosted a holiday party. We made creme brulee.
We hosted Yankee Swap.
We thought. We mused. We pondered.
We finished PW. We are champions.




We went climbing. In NH.
Then these two got married.
Got to see these guys.
We made dough when Ryan came to visit.
We made flag cake.
We hosted a giant beach party.
We celebrated our independence.
We had another bonfire.
Jeff got a Prius.
We got a dutch oven.
This girl came to visit again. And taught us how to make sushi.
We read Real Simple. We laughed.
We applauded the reunion of Lilith.
We hung in Chicago.
We visited with my MI girls.
We enjoyed some sunsets.
We had a pool party. With a camera. In the pool.
We photobombed.
We hiked.
We said goodbye to Corelyn’s car. And mine. And Becca’s. And Mary’s.
We celebrated 21 for this one, in Vegas. By bowling. In nice dresses.
M came. To stay.
We BBQed. We laughed.
