So you might not know this. But I love Hanson.

Sometimes I take trains to cars to pick me up to bring me to Hanson.

Hanson always involves coffee.

And embarrassing crowds.

Jeff and I, recently, decided we needed a new spice situation. The spice shelf was great, and all, but we needed more space, more spice, more life!
And so, I give you, our new spicy kitchen.

Can you guess who showed up as the spices were going up, just in time to save me from all the decision about which spices should go where??

I think we were satisfied with our decisions.

Every now and then…or every year…I like to dress up for Halloween. Last year, if you don’t remember, I was Sarah Palin, which was successful because Jeff was Joe Biden.

This year Corelyn and I put our thinking caps on, and decided to be goddesses. We were going to different parties, so we didn’t have to worry about being the same thing, but just in case we chose different goddesses. I was Aphrodite, and she Athena.
We hit Michael’s and Joann’s to get the crafts, and spent the better part of the afternoon and evening getting ourselves ready. It was one part prom, one part college party, and I loved every minute of it.

After having Becca ringlet both our heads, do both our makeup, and spending some time safety pinning gold to our dresses, we were ready.

Guys. I’m sorry I’ve been MIA.
If you remember last fall you’ll remember it’s quite busy at my job in the fall. No excuses: pressing on. Anyways, I wanted to let you know some exciting news. After pestering a bit and lots of encouragement, Corelyn and I have decided to start a food, life, love blog. I will continue to post here, but occasionally I’ll point you to there to enjoy food photography, recipes, etc. We’re excited to be starting a project together, and we’re excited to share it with you. We hope you’re excited, too.
